  • Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully tested an indigenously-built lightweight ‘glide bomb’ at the Integrated Test Range in Odisha’s Chandipur.
  • The Kerala government has decided to set up a ‘trauma care’ policy to provide road accident victims free treatment for the first 48 hours.
  • The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda), in its single largest property e-auction, sold 9.82 acres of commercial land in Sector 47 of Gurgaon for a whopping Rs 842 crore to Swedish furniture maker IKEA.
  • The number of stations monitoring air quality in the Delhi city increased to 35 from the existing 17, with two more stations scheduled to be added to the network by next week.
  • Minister of Communications Shri Manoj Sinha launched a Pan India scholarship program for school children called Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana to increase the reach of Philately.
